About Our Process
We work with a range of materials, including resin, solid yellow brass and bronze, 14K gold-filled, 14K solid gold, 925 sterling silver, and natural stones. Each piece is made using traditional jewelry techniques like lost-wax casting and hand sculpting.
How to Care for Your Jewelry
General care
- Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
- Keep pieces separate so metal can't scratch resin or stones.
- Handle pearls and delicate details gently.
Resin and keepsake inclusions
- Remove before swimming, showering, bathing, or washing your hands.
- Put jewelry on after lotions, perfume, and hairspray.
- Avoid heat and prolonged sun exposure, which can cloud or yellow resin over time.
14K gold-filled
Gold-filled metal has a thick layer of real gold (at least 5% by weight) bonded to a jeweller's brass core. It's far more durable and tarnish-resistant than plated jewelry and is generally well tolerated by sensitive skin, though wear can vary with individual body chemistry. Clean gently with a jewelry polishing cloth.
Brass and bronze
Brass and bronze naturally darken over time with exposure to water and skin oils. This patina is normal and can be polished away with a soft jewelry cloth (such as a Sunshine cloth) or a tarnish remover.
Sterling silver
Sterling silver can darken with exposure to air and moisture. Polish with a silver cloth and store in an airtight bag to slow tarnishing.
